The Guru Teg Bahadur Charitable Health and Education Awareness Society, is a nonprofit organization registered under societies regd. Act XXI of 1860, in Batala, Distt. Gurdaspur of Punjab. Organization is working for the betterment and development of India through promoting continuous development of rural women, youths and other urban poor. Organization was formed in 2001 with the motive to work in all over India.
Going on which the Organization has been involved in Philanthropic activities covering the various aims & objectives of the Organization that is mainly involved in women & child upliftment, entrepreneur development, youth affairs and laying active focus in vocation Training, in various Technical & Non-Technical Sectors such as Electrical Sector, Carpentry, Construction, Agriculture, Tourism and Hospitality, Plumbing, Computer Science and IT, Telecom, Refrigeration, Accounting Sector, Beauty Culture, Health Care, Fabrication as well as the sector of Tailoring & Garment Manufacturing since 2009 and has vast experience in the related sectors for 20 years.
The organization has three training campus of which it has been affiliated with NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) and AICTE New Delhi. The organization till date has been able generate impressive strength in imparting technical education this trade. The total candidates in various trades have been about 25000 candidates.
Guru Teg Bahadur Charitable Health and Education Awareness Society training partner of NSDC since 2015. The Organization has always taken a step forward in order to take an active part in skilled to women. The Organization has also undertaken various Entrepreneur skill development program in collaboration with Ministry of MSME and NSDC by training schedule castes and others in various districts i.e.,pan India. This also proved to be very successful activities in increasing self-Employment and entrepreneurship.
Other than ministry of MSME the Organization has been a training partner with Ministry of Technical Education and regd. Vocational Training provider since 2004. The organization never laid it step back in acting a helping hand in the field of youthfulness in the society.
Under such development institution programmed Guru Teg Bahadur Charitable Health and Education Awareness Society initiated for the development students in India and other countries: Over the past 6 years, Guru Teg Bahadur Charitable Health and Education Awareness Society has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in implementing development programs that have drastically changed the lives to share poor people this knowledge, experience and to enhance the capacities and skills of community development workers. Guru Teg Bahadur Charitable Health and Education Awareness Society established its development training center with the motive to capacitance the development professional for promoting and facilitating better and perspective services to the concerned development agencies and institutions.
Training Domain Activities related to sector in which institute proposes to impart training since its inception. The institute has been providing technical & vocational training in the field of electrician, carpentry, construction, A.C & Refrigeration, Computer Courses and Cutting & Tailoring Teacher Training as well. The institute has been affiliated to NCVT for Fashion Technology, Arts & Craft, Teacher Training trade and has always been able to generate an impressive strength of students for such trades. Such technical courses have always been in demand as requirement of such skilled fresher’s continuously arises with technical development in the region. GTB technical institute has always been involved in job-oriented courses as part of its vocational training programme and successfully running these courses.
